anybody that believes in God can answer this question, no matter what religion.. how do you get into heaven? is it just by getting saved or is there more to it.. do you need to keep going to church?

Matthew 4:17 ...Jesus began... to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Matthew 7:21 Not every one... shall enter... but he that doeth the will of my Father...
Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved...
Luke 11:13 ...your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask...
Acts 2:38 ...Repent, and be baptized... in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there... any... other name... whereby we must be saved.
Acts 8:16 (For... they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
1 Peter 3:21 ...baptism doth... save us... by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us... provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together...

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, no one will enter to the Father's house except through Him.
Paul tells how to become a Christian and James goes more into detail how to go by once we are Christians. We get saved only by the grace and mercy of God. Not for what we do but for what Jesus did on the cross.
We need do accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and we will be saved. All good people do not go to heaven, all the forgiven people go to heaven.

You dont - humans were designed to live on earth and the earth was designed for humans to live on it.
The Bible does not teach that heaven is the reward for those who do good.
Heaven is where spirit beings dwell;Jehovah God,Christ Jesus his son,angels,spirit anointed ones from the earth.
The Bible teaches that those who exercise faith in the ransom sacrifice of Jesus and obey Jehovah God have the opportunity to reside on the earth forever.All the dead will be resurrected and too will be given an opportunity to learn about our creator and choose to obey and serve him.
As for the disobedient and those who do not want to serve Jehovah,these ones will be done away with for all time.

Why concern yourself with going to some fantasy place that no one knows anything about. For all you know it could be the worst place in the universe to be. After all you'd be around a God that is so insecure that he needs constant validation of how wonderful he is and if you don't give him that validation then he will torture you forever!
Why not be as good as you can here and now and make the most of the life you have here? We know this life is real and people are willing to piss it away on fantasies of some future place? COME ON GET REAL ENJOY THE LIFE YOU HAVE AND SCREW AN AFTER LIFE!

You should always go to church it's what helps keep you from getting tempted. You get into heaven on how you were judged on what you did in your lifetime. So like if you were good then you will be judged on your good deeds, if you were bad you will be judged on your bad deeds fairly. But first you have to die before you get into the whole judgement thing.

God IS NOT a religion of any sort. It is merely a name for something greater then ourselves. It is idiotic to think we appeared out of thin air but equally as stupid to think that we owe something so much greater then ourselves anything in return such as praise, sacrifice, or the precious time we have left as conscience human beings.

the Bible clearly says that its by FAITH that we get to heaven, and not good works or trying to justify that we are good.
becos no matter how many good works we do, we still sin, and if there is one tint of sin in us, then we cannot enter a perfect place called heaven, becos the CONSEQUENCE OF SIN is death, which is hell.
so Jesus had to come and die in our place, to pay for the consequence we ourselves had to pay in the 1st place.
so only through Him can you go to heaven. no other way. not religion, not good works, not yourself.
church is not a building, but church is a body of believers. going to church is one of the requirements of God, but not the way for salvation. BUT if you truly believe in God, you will truly love Him, if you truly love Him, you will love His people, and going to church will not be a problem for u at all. :)
it is that easy, thru Jesus. its a gift. its like, if im in DEEP IN DEBT of a million dollars, would i not accept someone who wants to offer me a million dollars to truly help me?

You don't have to think heaven as something that can be achieved only afterlife. When you are in a serene and balance conditions, that's heaven. Don't overthink it, be happy!
