YES!
Now the WAY you ask is important. One way leads to the path of "just friends" and the other is to the path of "I can't believe how awesome my man is". Yeah. I knew you'd like #2.
You need to ask in a somewhat original way. That means no "Wanna go somewhere?" or "How about I take you out?". You need to say it like a man. Say "I'm into ice skating and I'm going to _______ this weekend. Join me if you're free."
That communicates several things: That you know and respect that she has her own life, that you aren't overly eager, that you're going with or without her, and that you aren't a shy-roundabout wuss.
Try to keep the wording exact and you should be fine. Be chill, relaxed, and don't treat her like a queen. Try acting like you're ALREADY best friends and she'll pick up on it and you'll really go far.

You should invite her to go ice skating. If she is up to, it is a great place to go. You can help her skate by holding her hand or placing your hand around her waste...etc. You can also sit around over hot cocoa after ice skating for some one on one time of conversing.

Yeah go the ice-skating! Don't be like the other yobbo that was on here earlier and take her to maccas... Heck my first date with my b/f (now fiance - soon to be husband) was to schoolies week at the gold coast. The atmosphere was great with all the people.
Good luck!

Any with velcro and softer skates gained't very last and do not have solid ankle help. red is punctiliously irrevelant. you gained't hit upon a pair of skates with red which will very last and help your daughter's ankle. The skates from the 0.33 link and fourth link would likely be ok. i have continually loved Riedell skates. you extremely might want to get them proper outfitted on your daughter because it will be more durable for her to skate in them. If she extremely needs red, then you definately can get red boot covers.

well maybe it will be a good experience for her and a good one for you to get to know her. who knows, she may end up to love it or hate it, but it is not really about the skating, but about getting to know you. you could take her out to get a drink after the skating, she would most likely like that.

yes its a very good idea but just make sure not to leave her alone the whole time if you know a bunch of ppl at the pond or rink. try to make her feel like shes part of the conversation, she'll be very grateful because being awkwardly shoved to the side is very annoying believe me this has happened to me before...
