My ex left me 8 months pregnant. Moved to better our lives with a higher paying job..I was moving there with him..he called and broke up with me..saying that he is tired of my bullshit and drama..well he tells me this now..never said a word of it before..I'm emotional because of the pregnancy..I really love him, was together for almost a decade..got together very young. I don't think he knows what he wants. I'm seeing more stories like this everyday..He says he loves me but doesn't seem to want to make it work. He says there is no other woman...I don't want to give up..I can't wait to see my lil son and I hope that will open his eyes..maybe he is scared? He says he isn't..

You have the right to be a bit neurotic in pregnancy I know I was a complete ***** and it doesn't give your partner the right to make you so emotional especially so close to the birth. I would start focusing on you and your baby now and if he wants to change and be there for you and the baby then thats great but if not remember that there are heaps of great single parents out there and you can do it if you have to.

The thought of permanantly settling down could be scaring him, even though you've been together so long. He maybe unsettled in the relationship, no offense, but have you been abit neurotic through-out your pregnancy, pregnancy can cause a whole heaps of upheavled emotions make you behave differently to before. Ask him what bullshit and what drama he's talking about. He may just be making excuses for himself. He may very well come around when the bub is born, but I wouldnt stand for him leaving and returning when it suits him, you dont get that opportunity, why should he.
