The Jews WERE the chosen people. They killed Jesus, God's son, and God turned away from them and towards the nations.
He had protected, blessed and disciplined his people, Israel, but they kept disappointing him. He sent Jesus to earth from heaven to teach them how to worship him. And to buy back mankind because Adam and Eve lost eternal life for all mankind. So it took a perfect life, Jesus to buy back what another perfect man, Adam had lost.
God said He would take out of the nations a people for his name. What is his name?
Psalms 83:18 tells us God's name is Jehovah. Only one religion is called after his name. Jehovah's Witnesses do as Jesus taught us we witness about all the things our God has done for us. We encourage everyone to be a footstep follower of Jesus Christ.
And Jews as individuals have the same opportunity to learn about Jehovah and accept Christ as their Messianic King.
But as a religion, the Jews are not in God's favor anymore.

The evidence is contained in the bible and the very undeniable truth that the former testomony stated the Jews could go back to Israel. wager what? It got here about in 1948, so even inspite of the truth that on the time the bible became written, that became an severe lengthy-shot, the prediction became suitable. God made a promise to the Jews, He would not ignore His promises. The bible tells us that He grew to develop into offended with the Jews, yet that He could forgive them, that that they had continuously be His chosen.

well if you won't take God's word for it, I can't help you. but Christians are called engrafted branches, so we're God's people too.

and you say Jesus wasn't killed by jews? you're looking at the top layer. go further. the jews pressured the romans into crucifying Jesus, even though he had not broken any laws nor should have been subject to death by Rome's standards. The jews may not have wielded the flagrum, but they were still the ones who killed him. It's like you hiring a hitman: you're found guilty as well.

look at history,a sheep among seventy wolves constantly persecuted 3,500 years of persecution.the Egyptians,Babylonians,Persians, the Greeks,Romans,Spain, czarist Russia,Nazi Germany just to name the deadlier attempts.oh yeah Iraq,Palestine,Iran all these nations at one point in history intended on exterminating the Jewish people as a whole yet none of them succeeded. Why not? they were super powers who's mission was the extinction of the Jews.whats the secret of the Jews survival?try your hardest to come up with a logical explanation,i suspect you wont be able to because there isn't the only explanation is it is gods will

gift: The Jews WERE God's "chosen" people but they are not now, in this present day and age. In, the Book of Jeremiah, Chapter 3, verse 8, you can read where God "divorced" Israel. The Jews were the ones to instigate the murder of Jesus Christ - the Son of God. Would they be God's people even, still ? God decides who His chosen people will be from out of the many cultures and races of this world.

G-d said so. In the Tanakh. It was given to Moses at Mt. Sinai. There is no proof, unless you believe in the Tanakh.

First, we must prove that the Bible is God's Word. This can be done as I have only begun to illustrate in the link below...
http://schnebin.blogspot.com/2006/05/gods-word-proven.html

After this is established, we can then accept what it says as being true in regard to His chosen...

Deuteronomy 7:6 “For you [children of Israel] are a holy people to the Jehovah your God; Jehovah your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth."

God promised through numerous prophesies that He would re-establish them back in their homeland in one day. This day was May 14th 1948. So through the vehicle of prophecy we see that it is God who wrote the Bible, and it is God that brought them back into the land.

Genesis 12:3
"I will bless those who bless you [children of Abraham], And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed [ie via Messiah].”

Biblehelp, Debbie2243 - Based on Romans 11:1-2, you could not be more wrong. For Paul said clearly,
"Has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew..."

guraqt2me - You are only telling half the story. According to the prophesies of Hosea in regard to his wife Gomer, God will restore divorced Israel to be His again. As He stated in Hosea 2:23
"Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth, And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; Then I will say to those who were not My people, ‘You are My people!’ And they shall say, ‘You are my God!’"

People, you need to get your doctrine regarding Israel straight. God has a destiny for the church, and a destiny for Israel. They are both different. God will personally redeem Israel. Best to be on the same side as His Word.

Why? What does it matter to you? You will either ridicule or slander the correct answer. Why not look into yourself and see why you are doing this.

Moses. Because God told him.

See, you are going to make fun of me. Go ahead. Who cares?
