Medical terminology derives most vocabulary from Sanskrit,Latin, Greek, Arabic, Pali, Chinese and a few other classical languages of the world. This terminology makes it easy to teach medicine in any language in the world.

Medical terminology is important for accurate communication. for example, if i said a patient broke his arm, that would be vague. If i said he broke his humerus, that rules out the ulna and radius.
