Psychotherapy can be especially helpful in assisting you with identifying behavior pattern causing you distress and changing the schemas that drive them. Treatment can be sought through either a mental health agency or chemical dependency agency and also through support groups in your area. There is a plethora of good self-help books out there as well. Some excellent authors are Claudia Black and Janet Woititz, although there are many others-probably the best tho is Co-Dependent No More by Melody Beattie. Good Luck!

this topic is not a sign of good psyche, one should be independent in the first stance,be able to cope with stress on his or her own, still getting some advice or help from time to time is harmless,in fact it is a sign of socialisation.
