Why are you paying an illegal immigrant to clean your house?

Betty: The reason is this. God simply, is not drawing nor calling everyone to Him in this life (see: II Corinthians Chapter 3, verses 13 & 14 - of the New Testament of the Bible). Here; Paul the Apostle, refers to the uncalled or unchosen, as having a type of "veil" placed over them, so they can not "see" God's Hand in the "Big Picture", of life. Note; that Atheists will have their kick at the "can" later, at the return of Jesus Christ to this earth. They will be given their turn during this age. The Gospel or Good News is proclaimed or announced by Christians, to bear witness of this event, in the not too distant future. No where, does it say to attempt to nor try and convert people - that is God's job (see: Book of John, Chapter 6, verse 44). Hope this supplies you with both, insight and hope for an assured future.

Good question, your almighty god apparently hasn't been doing his job. Maybe he's on vacation or maybe he doesn't exist. I would tell you to ask him, but questioning god is blasphemous, kind-of engenders blind faith, don't ya think? Sad isn't it, that you get more answers from atheists than you do your own god.

(2 Corinthians 4:1-5) These verses explain that the Gospel is open & revealed to everyone, except to those who refuse to believe. Satan is "the god of this age". His work is to deceive, and he has blinded those who do not believe in Christ, see (11:14,15). The allure of money, power, and pleasure blinds people to the light of CHRIST'S gospel. Those who reject Christ and prefer their own pursuits have (unknowingly) made the enemy (satan) their god. Satan & his servants masquerade as angels of light and righteousness. <>< <><

i am not an atheist, but i believe you are the one who is blind.
At least atheists are thinking for themselves and come up with a conclusion that is possible,
The idea of god is just a collection of words created by man.
You must also be pretty blind to put that picture of yourself up.

If god exists, why doesn't he show himself? I mean REALLY show himself. Physically manifest and perform feats which science could not presently explain. That might help some of us atheists believe.

That's one you'll have to ask God. Nobody here knows the answer.

I see a bunch of know-it -alls have posted answers saying if God doesn't make periodic announcements via sky-writing or radio announcements, then it is logical to conclude that He doesn't exist. I shouldn't have to point out that this is fallacious. I guess these folks just haven't given it much thought. They are trying to say God must conform to whatever behavior they decide to attribute to Him or he must not exist. That's like saying that if the moon is not made of green cheese it does not exist.

Why do people blinded by faith convince themselves they can see so clearly?

Everything has a counter. Agree to disagree, believe what you like and let others do the same.

I assume you mean blind as in, haven't seen God yet? HE does because He gives us our own free will. He respects our free will too. He just hates to see us trn from Him. He wants to know that the scars on His hands are not in vain. It is sad, but when God gave us free-will, and then, when sin entered the world, it was no longer a good thing.
