when you first get put on blood pressure medication, your body needs like at least a few days to adjust to it. but you'll be feeling better in like 4 days until your body adjusts to it. and your body will also build a tollerance for the medication so it won't be as low as it is now in like after about a week or two. but if it becomes bothersome and you don't feel well, then tell your doctor, he can give you a lower dose.

90-120 is normal for your upper number
bottom number i think is to be between 70-90 so your bottom number could be a little low.

What are the two numbers?

There are two different numbers that make up a person’s blood pressure. The systolic pressure is the top or left-hand side number. The diastolic pressure is the lower or right-hand
number.

Heres some information from www.ultimatehealthreport.com

Systolic pressure is the amount of pressure exerted when the heart contracts. Diastolic pressure is the amount of pressure that remains in the arteries between heartbeats, when the heart is resting. If someone has a blood pressure of 112/70 (spoken as “112 over 70”). it means that person has a systolic pressure of 112 and a diastolic pressure of 70. Both the systolic and
diastolic numbers are important and need to maintained at
healthy levels.

What is a healthy and normal blood pressure? Experts say 119/79 is the healthiest blood pressure for an adult and is what every adult should strive for. Blood pressure between 120/80 and 129/84 is normal. High-normal blood pressure is between 130/85 and 139/89. When blood pressure reaches 140/90 and higher it is considered high blood pressure. The higher a person’s blood pressure gets after it is greater than 140/90, the greater the risk for serious damage to the body’s organs.

A person’s blood pressure changes throughout the day depending on what a person is doing physically, feeling mentally (strong emotions can increase blood pressure), food that has been eaten, and depending what time of the day it is. It is natural for a person’s blood pressure to fluctuate somewhat.

To get a good blood pressure reading it is better to have it
taken after getting up from sleeping and moving around for a
few hours, rather than right away in the morning. Try not to
have it taken right after vigorous physical activity because
blood pressure stays lower than normal for a while. Also, try
to not to drink anything with caffeine or alcohol in it, or
smoke for at least thirty minutes before having a reading
taken. The tobacco and caffeine could temporarily raise blood
pressure, resulting in an inaccurate reading. And depending on
the person, alcohol can artificially raise or artificially
lower blood pressure for a short time.

If a blood pressure reading is high, the person will likely be
asked to come back in a day or two to have another reading done so an average blood pressure can be established. One high blood pressure reading doesn’t necessarily mean a person has high blood pressure but it shouldn’t be ignored either. In addition to the factors mentioned above that can temporarily and artificially raise blood pressure, other things--such as the stress of being in a medical setting--can also temporarily raise it.

Normal blood pressure is usually at most 120/80. Any higher is said to be prehypertension. If you're dropped down to something that your body is not used to, then it will make you feel fatigue because your body is having to run on less oxygen and nutrients being carried throughout your body. It will take a little while for your body to get used to the pressure change, but in a week or two you should be feeling back to normal. Just monitor your blood pressure and if it is dropping below 100 (systolic) then the doctor should reconsider the medicines you are on. If you are experiencing dizziness also you should let your doctor know because even though hypertension is bad, hypotension is also bad. Maybe before you begin to depend on the medicine, you should try instead to change your diet by eating less salt and drinking more water and taking bab y aspirin each day. The blood pressure medication is not the answer for everyone and hypertension can usually be controlled without it.

Normal b/p is 100-140 on the top side, and 60-80 on the bottom side, you need to make sure you take your b/p about the same time of day ,, and have had rested at least 15 minutes before taking it, to get an accurate reading, and use the same arm. A lot of things influence b/p even taking a shower. Hope this helps you/

Normal as in a healthy B/P is 120/80 The top number is your systolic and the bottom is your dystolic. Your B/p is still ok, but what is your pulse? Your not in distress no shortness of breath or cheast pains then I would say that your fine. You might just be stressed. See your doctor if you are concerned.

120/80 is normal. but your blood pressure is borderline.all though
your on new blood pressure meds sometimes when it becomes normal levels again it will make you become tired and weak.Just because you are not use to the change.Keep a check on your b/p
because the medicine may have to be adjusted to your needs.Good Luck Sweetie.
