Non triers cheating..

I didn't see the incident in question so cannot really comment.

However I will say that the non-triers rule is a bit of a shady area:
when running a horse for the first time you sometimes need to treat it gently, not scare it or knock it about, so that it learns its job and has a good association with racing.

Also with horses that are tired should you really flog them so that they scrape into the bottom end of prize money (usually 6th place).

What about horses that go lame?

They really need to clarify the rules on this matter

I dont' think so... But since it was a cheat then there is nothing you can say in this case as long as you are aware of what you commited.
