Yes, once I ran out of gas in Villa Park,Orange county,ca, and the police were there telling me to move my van, or they were going to tow it, and a man, pulled over, came up to me and let me borrow his phone, though no one i knew was home. He found out that all I needed was a little petrol, and he went, and got a gas can and filled it with 2 gallons, and gave it to me, with the instuction to jjust leave the can at his address.
i never knew his name and was never really able to thank him.

Yes I have and it made me feel wonderful. Didn't matter if it was picking up a toy for a child or helping an elderly person with their groceries. I believe if people would help others more the world might be a better place. But it'll take more than kindness to do that wont it?

Yes it was 1997 and I was working a low paying job and did not have money enough for a winter coat. I only had a thin spring jacket. I live in Ohio and winters are cold to say the least. One Sunday after church this lady introduced herself to me and said that she had a gift for me from God. She produced a check for $150.00 with my name already on it! I had never seen her before that day. When God has a gift for you it may come by way of someone you don't even know.

Yes I have. In my youth, I always lent a helping hand to all.

Now, I have been stricken by a disease that I fall quite often. And I can't believe how many people will offer to assist me. The funniest one was I was crossing the street, had a spell, my pants fell to my ankles and I fell to the middle of the street. I thought this guy was going to run over me, but he was pulling his car up as close as he could to block the other traffic from hitting me. He got out, called the police and directed traffic around me till I got an ambulance to take over for him. Great guy. Me? Super embarrassed!

What goes around, comes around!

Yes, when I was 14 years old, I was on a large ledge of a building and I almost fell, a stranger, a man, gently pulled me to safety. To this day, I don't know his name. I was with a small group of teens touring Cincinnati, OH. I hope he knows how grateful I am. That was 29 years ago.

Yres, many times.
One time in the 70's, I was travelling with 2 suitcases, a brief cases, and some clothes over my arm. Going form bus to subway to bus... On the bus a young black man saw me when I was about to get off, and offered to help me with my stuff. He grabbed a suit case and the pile of clothes, and accompanied me down to the subway gate, gave it all back to me, then turned back to wherever he was going.
As it was my first time in Toronto (coming from a small town in Quebec), I had all sorts of ideas of violence and theft in the big city. So I was slightly worried at first. (I'm embarassed to admit that).
Never got his name. He just disappeared with a wave and a friendly smile. As I had been exhausted, I was very grateful!
