Catholicism and Christianity are not the same thing people!!!
Catholicism teaches that you must go to a priest for forgiveness and that you must pray certain prayers and do certain sacraments and good deeds to gain eternal life with God.
All those things do is send a person to Hell.
Christianity teaches that Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven. Faith in His death and resurrection saves and forgives. Priests can not forgive.. good works do not save.. only Christ alone.
So there is a huge, huge difference. If you are Catholic, ask yourself this question: Why will God let me into Heaven someday? Then write your answer down & turn to your Bible to see if that is a sufficient answer.
Here's a hint for you... Unless you write down that you will only be allowed into Heaven because you accepted Christ as your Savior, then you are not a "Christian".
And Catholicism was not at the roots of Christianity. If you understood Christianity and history, you wouldn't say such a thing.
Now... to the actual question:
Answer:
1) Pray for her each day that God would work in her heart and show her the truth and her need for Christ as her Savior.
2) Whenever you get a chance, witness to her and share the gospel.
3) Learn the false doctrines of the Catholic religion and be able to prove it from the Bible.
4) Invite her to any special church services that you have that will share the gospel.
5) Do all you can do & leave the rest to God. Remember, we can not force people to believe like us, but God holds the hearts of kings in His hands & He can change hearts.

I take it she's extremely interested in theology, and you of course hold the correct belief. Make sure you get a good grasp of RC apologetics before you launch into your own. Know your Greek and all the Catholic dogma and doctrines and catechisms as well as any that you specifically have. You've been to seminary, haven't you?

You are aware that Catholics believe in Jesus, right? You are aware that Catholicism was the first form of Christianity, right? Leave your maid alone. At least she's cleaning your house instead of trying to convert people.

I'm pretty sure Catholics believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that she is saved. Saved is saved. If she loves Jesus and has trusted Him, as her Lord and Savior, she is on her way to Heaven.

First, Catholics believe in Christ. Second, for the first person that answered, catholosism wasn't the first christian church, the apostles and Christ himself were the start of all of it, unless you look back to the beginning- as in Genesis. That really was the beginning of human Christianity.
On to your question now. Catholics do believe in Christ. They worship Christ. Their whole church was founded on their belief in Christ. In her own way, she has accepted Christ. Isn't that what you want after all.

All you can do is pray for individuals with reverence & gentleness. And allow the Holy Spirit to work. It's under The Lord's control not ours. Continue to pray for her & use respect <>< <><

I think you need to believe in Jesus first before you can think of helping others to follow his footsteps. You mentioned she is a catholic so why don’t you get the idea that she believe in him? re-read what you wrote
