Never in real life.. As far as watching NASCAR and the games and crap.. I'd say it's my favorite road course. The racing there is always jam-packed and full of action. I enjoy watching the few road course races that NASCAR offers during the season. Can't get that finish @ Watkins Glen last year in the Busch Race when Robby Gordon and Kurt Busch were throwing up dirt and grass, banging doors on the final laps. Awesome race!

I saw the first IRL race there in 2005 and it sucked. I live forty minutes from Watkins Glen and wouldn't go again with a free ticket.

the secret to road course races in to not buy a grandstand seat but to buy a ticket that lets you roam around the course, walk to every corner and watch how the drivers handle each for a few laps and move on. be sure to rent a scanner for the weekend to keep up on who the leaders are and such.

no just on tv but i think i would like to see a road race in person just to see how much you can see of the track because it dont look like you could see much of the race from the stands.
