Usually, I would say that this is Redneck teritory. However, there was an advert shon in the UK recently that had a man riding a bull who, after the initial bucking, proceeded to put the animal through a series of high level dressage moves. That sort of bull riding definately gets my vote.
However, rodeo riding in general uses a strap to induce bucking. So it is not just a question of bulls, but horses also.

Well, I grew up riding bulls with my brothers and let me tell you it isn't the most easy thing to accomplish. You gotta be tough and be able to take alot. And it didn't help that our Dad was the type if we did get hurt, he would call us whimps or worse and tell us we better get back out there and show them bulls who was boss. So you ask how I feel, well, I think we are all pretty tough customers!!

They are tough and skilled, but tend to be stupid. Personally, I feel bad for the bull and I don't like them for supporting cruel events like rodeos where they put a bucking strap so tight around bulls and horses just to piss them off.
