Her mom wont let her move but the HS shes going to is mcuh closer to her dads house. Her dad wont have to pay 3,000 extra dollars for transportation she moves there. She likes her dad more becuase hes easier to talk to and mor eunderstanding. He works a lot of hours but his gf is very good with helping out. She gets along with his gf's son. Any ideas on how to get her to her dads house before hs starts.

Your friend is at that age where she can decide which parent she wants to live with. And since her main reasoning is educational, the courts will allow the move regardless of what the mothers says. Tell you friend to consult with free legal aid or have her father look into the options.

She's going to have to do whatever the courts decide.
If you stick yourself into the middle of all this, it could backfire on you. This one is between your friend and both of her parents.

i think she's stuck with the custody ruling dictated by the legal establishment.
If the mother won't give up custody, there are not a lot of options.

Just tell her to pack her bags and go there even if the mother kicks up a stick she will have to go to court with it cause the girl is of age to decide wat parent to live with.
