I had a dog who lost her voice. She was eating, drinking, and playing the same as always. She had throat cancer. Please take your cat to the vet for an evaluation.

I would take him to the vet. Seems like I had a similar problem years ago with my cat, but I can't remember what the problem was. As I recall, the cat would open his mouth and try to meow, but no sound would come out. I want to say it was a virus and he took an antibiotic, but it's been ages ago. He's since passed on, but he did fully recover from the voice issue. He died of a kidney disease at age 16.

But, please, do take your cat to the vet. You have no way of knowing if he is in pain or discomfort, or if there is a more serious problem that is causing this.

I've had a lot of cats in my life time, but never one that lost his voice. Sounds kinda funny. Did you take him to the vet to see why he lost his voice?

we've a cat that eats too quickly. We degree out the quantity of nutrition she gets, and supply her in simple terms in simple terms slightly (a tablespoon) at a time over a pair of hours. yet another thought you could try is to mixture the nutrition in with some super pebbles, sufficiently huge that the cat won't consume them, yet sufficiently small that the cat has to go them around slightly to discover the nutrition... and slowing them down slightly.
