If you are actually sick, there is no shame in having mono. Lots of people get it, so let your parents know and go see a doctor.Other than that, I am not helping you cut class.

Mono lasts for months...it is a serious illness that your parents and teachers should be aware of. You will feel very fatigued to the point that you can't function. You can get tested later into the illness. Make sure they 'test' you if you DO go to the doctor because if they misdiagnose it and give you antibiotics you can break out into bad hives and be twice as miserable. Mono is not from kissing so don't be weirded out. My daughter caught it from drinking after someone who she later found out had it.

Don't force any energy on yourself if you have mono. It will worsen the condition. If you have fever, stomach pains, sore throat, swollen glands on both sides of throat, yellow jaundice, and feel really tried? Best to see a doctor. It a kissing disease but it is also spread by someone coughing and sneezing. Tell your parents. If they do their homework on mono they will be aware you can get it from someone who was coughing or sneezing as well.
Good luck.

I don't think that you can fake another illness if this is what you have. You should see your doctor so that you can begin being treated immediately for the proper illness with the proper meds. Your throat/neck can swell up with this and make you extremely sick!! I'm not trying to scare you or bum you out by not giving you the answers you wanted to hear, but I am just being honest and truthful with you as one caring human being to another. Don't do this to yourself or your parents!!! Please tell them and go see your doctor.

tell your folks!! mono isnt the kissing disease like you probably think-there a 2 kinds, and its as esy to get as from a drinking fountain contaminated with it-it only takes a blood test to check-and rest. this could be dangerous if its positive and left untreated.
dont fake something else-be careful for what you wish for

You really need to go in for a check-up and see if you have mono. It is a serious disease and you would need to be treated immediately... Please tell your parents to have you checked over by a doctor. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECCOMEND YOU FAKE AN ILLNESS!!!
