A guy I know died of a sinus infection when it spread to his brain.
If he had went to the dr. before it was too late he'd be alive now.
See a dr.

Sinusitis is an infection of the sinus cavitiy, and as such, you will need a prescription for antibiotics!
It will help some, if you lie down and use a cool, damp washcloth on your forehead!
Also, there are "sinus masks" which are filled with some type of gell, that you put in the freezer for awhile, then remove and place on your face. This really helps, but you really should see a doctor for antbiotics!! I know, i have suffered with the SAME thing for many years now!!
Good Luck. Hope you feel better!!

There used to be a otc med called Ursinus that was the best thing I ever took for sinus pain. I don't know if it is still made or not but if you can find it, try it. I once had a sinus headache for four days and tried everything I could find but nothing helped. A friend gave me a Ursinus to take and in a couple of hours my headache was gone. I took it for years and it worked every time. Not all pharmacies handled it so it was hard to find. I seldom have sinus headaches any more so haven't had to buy it for several years. Hope you can find it.

One option to clear them is horseradish (eat) another is to use irrigation (salt water in one nostral out the other)
Much pain is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin with a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas daily - magnesium (which regulates many things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of water per day. Running a body low on water is like running a car low on oil is the analogy the head of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.
Now to the cause - muscles - your back, neck shoulders and head have tender spots. They are knots in the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It makes the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things causing the pain.
The cure - start with a professional massage, you will also want to go back over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day rubbing (or lightly scratching on your head) every where that is tender until the knots go away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up under the edge of the skull (to get to those muscles).
For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches what to do and where the pain comes from.

Sounds like you may have a sinus infection.
Go see a doctor tomorrow so that he can give you some meds that will make you better, not just mask the symptoms like over the counter cold remedies do.
Congrats on the new job

You should see a doctor. I get sinus problems here and there, but if over the counter meds aren't doing it, and the pain is that severe you definately need to go see your doc.
