I bought a super pack of hamburger meat at CostCo and it had a few tiny parts that were green. If it was mold, i figured it would have been throughout the entire package. This was about a millimeter in length and only two or three parts throughout the package.

It was probably the stamp that they stamped the meat with. I dont think it is mold...still I would pull it out (That is just a personal thing I have, it is probably fine!)

rewrap it and take it back tomorrow. I had a pack of meat that had a piece of the machine in it that grinds it up. I was told to get another package if I wanted. I went back and took a huge roast. They gave it to me free. No questions asked. And no. It wasn't the same kind of meat. I took something really good. I told them that I have a big mouth so they'd best make me happy. No problem whatsoever. I got what I wanted and they didn't get found out. It works. And if they say that it was the stamp on the meat? Then tell them to eat it. Trust me. They don't want the bad publicity. They would rather give you another package then to have you bad mouth them. Then in turn you will be able to say that they took it back without a problem. You'll see. If not then tell them you can't wait to get home and smear it all over the net. Then you'll see them jump. Don't throw it away. Find the label too. It has the date stamped on it. Good luck.

Don't eat it. Close it up, and take it back to the store tomorrow. Demand either a refund or a replacement. The store should be happy to oblige. They don't want to lose business.

I dont know what that is, but the best way to tell is to smell it. if it smells even a tiny bit "off" don't eat it.

Don't eat it...why would you want to risk your health? You should take it back to cosco and ask for your money back, they shouldn't have sold you discolored meat. yuck.
