Dark circles under the eyes are usually because the skin under the eye is much thinner with little fat padding there so the underlying blood vessels are more visible, thus tinting the skin a bluish color. It's more often noticed in fair haired/fair skinned people. It does seem to be more prominant in some people when they are sick or feeling ill because their skin becomes paler than usual at those times, so the contrast is more evident. Since you get enough sleep and said you feel fine, I wouldn't worry about it, it's just the way your skin is. If it bothers you, there are many types of cover-up make up products out there to lessen the appearance. Good luck!

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

It mat be caused by too much reading or working and playing on your computer too much. This puts a bit of strain on the muscles in the eyes and you get sore eyes and dark circles under the eyes. Give them a bit of a rest and they should come good again.
The only other reason I can put it down to, is if you are a whisky drinker. A dead cert give away for that action at the bar.

don't worry, I'm like that too
maybe the skin under your eyes is really thin so the veins are visible
I'm actually not sure why
there may be some products that decrease dark circles
or you could just add a dab of foundation under each eye

Sinus problems can contribute and Pollution if you live in heavily populated area with lots of traffic.Sitting at a computer for hours everyday and tv can also do it. But winter is soon passing and you will get sun which will help.

I was born with dark circles, and theres nothing you can really do about it unless you're willing to spend hundreds on creams that barely work. I just use thick concealer.

If you haven't always had them, it can be a sign of anemia (low iron)...a good way to get your iron back up is to eat more red meats and other foods high in iron, if you decide to take iron supplements, talk to your dr first, of course...but keep in mind, when taking iron, your body will absorb it better if you take it w/ something that has a lot of Vitamin C..(orange juice, oranges...etc)...hope this helps!!!

it's really normal.
hereditary (you get it from your parents).
no worries. millions of people have them.
just use under-eye cream every morning. it'll help!
I recommend "Clinique All About Eyes Cream"
they sell it at Macy's and many other places.
It really works!
