Many languages are spoken in India.

Hindi is the language that a majority of Indians speak. Other major langauges are Tamil (spoken in Tamilnadu), Kannada (spoken in Karnataka), Marathi (used in Maharashtra), Malayalam which is spoken in Kerala, Telugu (spoken in Andhra) and Bengali (spoken in Bengal).

Hindi and English are the official languages, however there are 23 total official languages. In total though, there are around 800 languages and 200 dialects spoken in India. I personally speak Malayalam (from the south Indian state of Kerala), which is quite unlike Hindi.

They have multiple languages and they simple depend upon the regions. You have Hindi and English throughout most of their government, but India has over 800 languages with something like over 2000 dialects. Hindi is the primary language for most of India though.

a million. i imagine a great number of Indians a minimum of understand undemanding English. In vacationer aspects is possibly the position English is extra hardship-loose. 2. Hindi is India's nationwide language. yet there are a ton of alternative languages spoken there. a lot of people in India learn about 2 languages. Lol! i'm watching Bollywood video clips today!
