Why do you feel the need to take your dog(s) everywhere you go. I see them in the mall, when I am buying food. I have even seen them when my family & I have gone out to eat. It is illegal to take an animal into these places. And I have a feeling that most of you know this. So , why disobey the law???? Why do you need to bring your small dog into these places? Why can't you just leave them at home???
Repeat after me: IT IS A DOG!

I do have a heart! I just don't think that it is needed to bring a dog into a places that they don't need to be in. I can understand a hotel or pet shop. But, the mall??

i own two chihauhuas, but i never take them out because i dont feel the need to. some people are very over-protective of their pets, so they feel bad leaving them at home. maybe they are scared of the small dog being squished by a pot falling over or something. i am scared of that sometimes, so i put my doggies in a small area where they are safe when i go out.
some people have nothing to hold on to but their pet. sometimes they feel lonely or discomforted without them. people usually attach to something when they are feeling alone or depressed. an animal cant say anything to stop them from being so attached, so the owner knows they cant make them feel worse.
hoped this helped you understand! :D

Well, I agree and disagree, and here is why. First off, I know sometimes it is a little excessive, but these are like some peoples babies, and I had much rather see them with the person than locked up in a car for an hour or two. Second, I don't believe it's illegal to take you dog to shopping places, I am a manager at a store in the retail field, even though we do have a sign that discourages such behavior on the front door, we never say anything to people fearing that it might be a seizure dog or therapy dog of some sort. Because that is discremination, and you CAN'T tell people who have to have a therapy dog with them that they can't enter these places.

I agree with you. I have a toy poodle and he is like family but we don't take him every where we go. He is a dog. I think that these people that take there dogs everywhere are just seeking attention and using there poor dog to get it. I love my dog but the mall is not a place for him, nor is the restaurants or grocery stores.

OH Dear... I have big German Shepherds but we take them to this German Restaurant = and it is legal too. As a matter of fact the entire dog club will take their dogs. It is against the law to have an animal in the kitchen = like so many feet from where the food is prepared...
Where ARE you getting your information?
IT IS A DOG =
BETTER MANNERS THAN A WHOLE LOT OF CHILDREN I HAVE SEEN ==
IT IS A DOG = YES = IT IS A DOG

#1 i have several small dogs and i don,t take them everywhere i go #2 it is not because of the small dogs it is the people most small dogs are very expensive and if i payed 700 dollars for a dog i would take him everywhere to and show him off with his price tag on him, yes i would make a price tag.#3 if you notice all the dogs look the same and all the people are really rude and rich and rich people think that they can do anything because they have money.

Then complain to the restaraunts that allow the pet inside.
Bringing a small dog around everywhere helps socialize it, and will make it a less shaky, nervous dog. I plan on dragging mone a lot of places, but obviously not a restaraunt or a beauty salon, where it is unhygenic.

Actually in the health and safety regulations for the hospitality industry, the only dogs allowed inside an eating establishment, are registered aide dogs eg seeing eye, hearing dogs. Outdoors dining areas are fine for bringing your pets to but it is illegal to bring them inside. But its up to the owners of the place to enforce these laws. I would hate to be allergic to dog hair, be in a restraunt and have someone with their 'fluffy little bundle' sit down at the table next to me. I also wouldnt like to sit down at a table that was vacated by someone with a dog and suddenly find dog hair on my expensive pants. Its rude and inconsiderate to the other people who have the right to eat and shop and not worry about dog hair and allergies and ugly little faces looking out of a 'designer dog purse'. I bet if i took my 2 dobermans to an eatery with me there would be complaints. Not that i would because my dogs dont eat at the table at home so why should they eat at a table somewhere else. They may be my babies but they are not accessories. As for the wanting to show off an expensive dog ($700), they last dog i bought from a registered breeder cost me $2500. And i sure as hell wouldnt have taken her to a restraunt if i took my eyes off her someone could have picked up and stolen her. Or she could have gotten loose and hurt or lost, screw that.

Hurleys & Tux dogs toys are great difficult (yet nonetheless bouncy and comfortable)... yet they at the instant are not "filled toys." we've not stumbled on any indestructible dogs toys which could postpone to our dogs's jaws. Our dogs like them lots that I do often times get them an opulent dogs toy... and that i've got stumbled on that the Tango dogs toy has appeared to final the longest out of each and every of the textile toys we've ever bought. extremely attempt tuffies & west paw layout - the two are great companies with great toys. sturdy success!

There are some public places where small dogs are allowed & if so, I see nothing wrong with it, if the dog is restrained & well behaved! (Guide dogs being the universal exception, they are allowed everywhere) On the other hand, if you are referring to these Celebs who seem to have a Toy dog attached to their hip, well, I guess, out there on the "Left Coast' anything goes!!

I agree with you, dogs don't belong in most stores. They do
have pet stores that you can take your pets to and I think alot
of people do it, because it's so conveient to take them anywhere,
due to their size. I don't like seeing dogs locked up in cars
either though. People should think twice about bring the dog
with them unless they are just going on for a ride.
