I don't think I'm fat, I just think I'm overweight, I'm 5'8" and 135lbs (anything in the 30s says overweight to me). I want to be model skinny (not SICKLY skinny, just 125lbs at the least and most). And I need to lose weight by April 5 - just a goal of mine. How do I do this? It's a little too cold where I live to constantly go out walking everyday and running and I'm scratching for time as it is already so I don't have much free time to myself.
Could you help please? Really want to be 125lbs. Eating tips, exercise tips, fast-burning calorie tips are very welcome!

I already eat a lot as it is, I adore food and I have a fast metabolism already, I just think I'm a little too overweight. I have a 1,000 calorie diet now. Any ideas?

Also, is it okay to only eat leafy green vegetables, fruits, and water for the entire month?

There is no magic weight-loss pill, supplement, fad diet, or juice. The ONLY way to lose weight is to consume less calories than you burn. Brad Pitt didn’t get cut for Fight Club by drinking green tea, and you won’t either.
Walk for 30 minutes every day including weekends, Mondays, and Fridays. Do at least 30 minutes of weight training each week. Do 60 minutes of additional, higher intensity cardio each week. You don’t need additional equipment—infomercial products like the Ab Lounger, Sauna Belt, etc. are all worthless so don’t waste your money.
Cut back on the foods you eat with high fat and high sugar content. Eat only single servings (read the label) with less than 3 grams trans fat and 3 grams sugars. Your primary source of sustenance should be grilled boneless skinless chicken breasts and canned tuna (in water, not oil). No dairy (except low fat cottage cheese occasionally); no processed meats; no heavy sauces; no chips, cookies, sodas, breads, etc.
Eat breakfast, and eat five small meals per day instead of three big meals. Don’t starve yourself during the day, but if you don't wake up famished, then you ate too much the day before. Stop eating at least two hours before you go to bed.
Get 6 to 8 hours of sleep every night. Turn off the TV and the computer. Sleep is vitally important.
Don't consume alcohol—alcohol is nothing more than empty calories with no nutritional value. Some people will argue that alcohol has some health benefits when consumed in moderation—I’m not debating that—but we’re talking about weight loss here. Lay off the booze if you want to lose the fat.
Drink lots of water, then drink more. Not tea, not Gatorade, not milk. Water. If your urine isn’t almost clear, you need to drink more water.
Good luck.

I found a great way to lose weight fast and keep it off. I do body cleansing. I lost 13 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. Cleansing will help the body get rid of impurities. Impurites come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives etc. The impurities get stored in the fat in our body. To shrink the fat, we have to get rid of the impurities by cleansing. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. To learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. Cleansing was good for me. Good luck whatever you decide to do!

I wouldn't try to lose 10lbs in a month. Your not supposed to lose more than 2 lbs a week to be safe. Go to www.bodybuilding.com and read about dieting and exercise. If you exercise right, you can get the body you want without losing a whole lot of weight. It's not so much the weight, it's more about how much lean muscle mass you have. If you start exercising you will start burning off the fat and replace it with lean muscle mass. That means that your weight won't really change, but your body will become more sculpted.

You are by no means fat, but it seems you have already convinced yourself you are. Why don't you call your physician's office and ask for a good diabetic diet for you to go by even though you are not diabetic. However, losing 10 pounds in a month is not a very healthy thing to do. Losing weight that quickly usually causes more harm than good. Perhaps you should make an appointment to see your physician and you two talk this over together and make sure to keep you health and safe at the same time. Good luck and please stay healthy.

Have you tried the Lemonade Diet. Check out the book written by Stanley Burroughs. It's a fasting diet to cleanse your body of toxic wastes, but at the same time, you can loose up to 10 pounds in a week!!!

I'm surprised no answerers got this yet - The difference between 125 and 135 is no big leap, so just on the info you give , i'd say you're fine and don't need to do anything. Losing 10 pounds really won't make you look much different in my opinion, just my 2 cents.

If you consume more calories than you burn, they will get stored as fat. So you have to exercise enough to burn the stored fat too. A good cardio will do the trick. Also cut out your carbs and sodas. If you work at it hard, you should be able to drop the ten. Here is some more information that may help.

It may sound crazy, but eating more will help you lose weight. 1000 calories isn't enough, but if you bumped it up atleast 100, I think you'd get better results.

If you drink soda daily try giving it up. I lost 7lbs in a few weeks when I gave up soda and all other calorie containing drinks.
