how do I find the status of my income tax check?

it says "Check Refund Status"

Click on that.

You have to provide your SS#, amount of refund and filing status.

call 1-800-829-1040,know your ss # and the exact amount of your return, the automated system will tell you the status..

If it's a state check Go to the "franchise tax board" web site and they will tell you when they recieved it and approx. time you will recieve check.

Go to IRS.gov they have a tracking system which will you your status. Good luck.
