I believe it would be on par with taking His name in vain, not blasphemy.

I use to constantly say "Oh my God" which I thought was more of a prayer but have come to realize it probably wasn't so I have to catch myself so I don't say it. I believe it is only a sin if you are subconsciously referring to God.
"Oh Lordy Loo" just doesn't sound right so why use if you are not sure how it will be taken.

If some do number one. There sure are a lot of so-called Christians that do number two.2.

If you were leader of the universe, would you care if people said, "Oh, Kay dammit!" I don't think so. When you have to deal with war, pestilence, and general human suffering, are SEMANTICS going to concern you? I doubt it. Give God some credit. Some things are too damned petty to be concerned about.

Perhaps if you are concerned about pleasing or displeasing the Lord, you could concentrate your attention on some much more serious matters, like mercy, and justice.....

if you say it with the meaning of "God" then it is blasphemous....like saying "Oh my God" or "Jesus Christ, I stubbed my toe"... think of more creative things. The reason people use it is because they are names of power, they know God holds the power even when they dont admit it or they would say something else, like "Oh my Buddah!" or "Allah damn it, I stubbed my toe" ....if it bothers you to use Gods name then dont. its like cussing, you can quit talking like that if you want to.

Yes it is taking the Lord's name in vain.
Right up there with "Oh my God!" and others that so many use in their daily conversations.
