Please be honest about my online profile. I need help!?

Question

None of the guys I'm interested in respond to my emails on the personals. I can see they've looked at my profile but choose not to respond. My pictures get 8.5 on Hot or Not, and here's the rest:

I'm a very creative, open-minded person. Happy to finally be on the West Coast after traveling and studying in a variety of places. I am a copywriter currently working as a producer. It's fun, challenging and keeps me quite busy all day.

I'm looking for someone educated and open minded. I tend to be attracted to taller guys with dark hair, but of course that's not a hard-and-fast rule.

29, Caucasian, 5'6", slender, brown eyes, light brown hair, doesn't smoke, drinks socially, post-grad education, employed full time, single, live with pets and roommate, have no kids, yes I want kids, Christian, speak English and Spanish, liberal political views.

(I live in CA and email tall guys with dark hair, so I don't think my physical preferences or politics are the problem.)

I do get a lot of information about you from your profile, but ... and I'm not being mean ... you don't sound fun. Maybe you should lighten it up a little bit. Don't present yourself as if you are at a job interview. You sound like an attractive, sweet person. Let them know you're fun to be around as well. Good luck, hon!

I've not been in the dating scene for many, many, many years. My youngest daughter is older than you. My advice is to stop looking for someone via the Internet. You said you're Christian. Why not look at church or church functions. Why not get involved in some charities or in some activities like walking, running, exercise, etc, etc, etc. Volunteering where there are people your own age could be the place you'll find Mr. Right. Get out there and meet people like yourself.

I know I'm probably boring you to tears but some of these things
just might work. What are your hobbies? You sound like quite a catch but you've got to let the fish see the bait before they'll bite.

Good luck and don't "settle". A good man is out there for you. I just think you're looking in the wrong place and you might seem to desperate. Relax and have fun.

i think of if it a courting provider, then in the chat between the two one among you , that in case you notice the could inform then gain this . individually I settle for ppl for who they're . no longer for what they might or can no longer do . The question i'd ask is ARE YOU gentle no longer telling ? All ppl have some style of disabilty or yet another . Yur basically happens to be noticable . So I ask could I tell somebody that i'm assembly that i'm taking drugs for melancholy & panic assaults ? For me the respond isn't any . I wish you each and every of the terrific on your courting . I incredibly have tried it besides & have made great pals , No true love yet . :-(

doesn't sound like the problem is with ur profile its probably with the guys that are reading it...... ur a serious adult with a career and u know where ur going and what u want and it looks like most of the guys that are reading ur profile don't. i would change ur profile if u do u'll probable get interest from guys ur not interested in

You sound seems nice.... But not necessary that looks are hot or what is a perfect person. Most important is of heart I guess. Go ahead and find some date. You may find your Mr Right one day... Good luck... =D

lol this is definitely not a good place to look for someone. Go to another dating site to look for men in your area. And hint: i think that when you stated you want kids, that scared most of the guys away...
