Hello Colorful,
Not sure where you live...this answer is USA based.
If you live outside the US, let me know and I will try to find
web sites about medical careers in your country.
That said..here is what I found.
----------------------
ExploreHealthCareers.org is a nonprofit organization involving professional associations and educational
institutions. Aims to help people find a health career that suits them. Includes free information on specific
health professions, training programs, current issues in health care. Some areas: nursing, occupational
therapy, complementary/alternative medicine, public health.

Links to other good free career guides at: http://www.rileyguide.com/health.html#car
For example: Medical Career Info
http://www.medicalcareerinfo.com/
"...The text is from the Occupational Outlook Handbook
[ http://www.bls.gov/oco/ ] , and there are some big omissions (like M.D.), but most of the professions collected here do not require education / training beyond a bachelor's degree (note that I said "most"). Many do not require education / training beyond a 2-year degree, which makes this a good list for some who are considering this field but are unsure of how much they'd like to invest in or who are considering career changes that do not require a major investment in a bachelors or masters degree...
--------
Occupational Outlook Handbook
http://www.bls.gov/oco/
Compilation of hundreds of jobs, put out by the US Labor Dept.
Jobs are listed alphabetically, but one can search by topic.
Gives training/education requirements, salary ranges,
job outlook , what workers do on the job, working conditions
I've worked at a number of libaries, academic and public,
and have found this resource to invaluable
------------
Another thought....many public libraries have a career section,
complete with books about groups of professions (as health care)
and individual professionals (as dieticians). When I was a substitute librarian in my hometown public library system, every
branch had a career section..and this section was used heavily..
and it was fairly up to date..a joy to work with
Hoping this helps!
If not, please email me by clicking on on the link under my id

Radiology, UltraSound, Nuclear Medicine, CT scanning. I interned in these fields this past semester. These fields are amazing since you can see the results of your work but you aren't causing further pain to them. It is very rewarding and there are a lot of options to progress in either of these fields. Salaries are great and you can become a technician or specialist in any of these fields in under 6 years maximum!

Pharmacist, chiropractor, physical therapist, occupational therapist, and massage therapist are some ideas. I wouldn't let needles get in the way of your decision though, you really are limiting yourself, and needles are surprisingly an easy thing to get over.

Seeking work in a spiritual medical area could be your ultimate calling. Healing people through positive energy and Spiritual awareness is being studied more and more these days. And is being taken more and more seriously. I know you'll probably laugh at this lol, but i thought I'd put it out there, because i believe that it will a good thing to have practice on in the not so far off future. Humans can heal all wounds and diseases through their own knowledge and understanding of the Energy that is all things. I'll leave it to this... If you believe the Bible, or even just parts of it... You'll find in there Jesus Himself telling all those around him that ALL people are capable of the miracles he performs. SOONER or later, We the people are gonna start taking Him seriously! It's an exciting and uplifting concept and path, should you choose to attempt it. :D Good luck in anything you choose to do! I think it's awesome that you seek a field to help people.
