I'd have to say as a guy with a girlfriend that I love very much, most guys are not that open about their love. I love my girlfriend as much as she loves me but she shows it a lot more then I do. Showing affection can be hard for a lot of guys. If a guy did say this to you I reccomend marrying him right now because your not going to find another guy who will do that for you.

yes they would, that rose thing happened to my friend on Valentines day accually, and they are getting along great. guys can be romantic, even though sometimes it doesnt seem like they can be.
