It's really hard to call something like smoking weed "bad." Bad is such an inflexible word. Is it "bad" for someone with glaucoma to relieve their pain by smoking prescribed marijuana, because it is the only medication that can do so? Is it "bad" that it is socially acceptable in the Netherlands to smoke marijuana when the country has one of the lowest crime rates in the world due impart to legalization of some drugs? Is marijuana really that "bad" when alcohol and tobacco kill hundreds of thousands of people a year, while there has never been a death from an overdose or adverse health reaction on
marijuana? Again is it bad that marijuana is not at all physically addictive while alcohol IS? Of course you could argue that marijuana makes people lazy, which is bad. But would those people really be all that much better if they didn’t smoke? By your logic food would be bad, because if you eat too much of it you get fat and eventually less productive. Is it "bad" that marijuana actually improves creativity resulting in some of the greatest music and art of recent times? It has been proven over and over that marijuana does not cause lung cancer (cigarettes do), and has been shown in scientific studies that marijuana does not adversely affect memory. So why exactly is it bad? Because it's illegal? It was illegal for women to vote a century ago...so you're saying it's bad that they do now? That being said, I admit that although marijuana is certainly not bad, it is definitely best in moderation, like a lot of things. However, there is certainly no reason why we should not be able to enjoy marijuana in a responsible manner, like alcohol, food, sex, or most other things in life.

For me, i see smoking weed as bad. If you need weed to tie you over, then you are a baby. My brother recently got in big trouble for being high during school, and it really just pisses me off. It is illegal for a reason. It doesnt make you yourself. Its bad for your lungs. Theres nothing fun or cool about smoking weed. My brother says it "opens your mind" but when i think about it, he hasnt done one good thing with his life, so what does he know? Also, its addicting. My bro still smokes even after he got in trouble. He says he could stop if he wants, but isnt that what everyone says? All it does is make everything seem less shitty and help you focus. Really, you need to find better things in life that make you happy. Im drug free and i absolutely love my life.

there's no reason for it. You're just trying to make a statement when ya do it. Just like cigarettes. Wanna show people that you can. Well good for you. Put it on your gravestone.

marijuana is bad if you've become addicted to it. not all people who use marijuana do it because it's cool. marijuana has its therapeutic effects also.
