Time to take your hair to the pros, I'm afraid. The split ends need to be cut; the dry, frizzy hair needs a major moisture treatment. These will get you back to square one.
Have your hairdresser analyze your hair type (weight/thickness, volume, oily v. dry) and give you the advice you need to maintain your hair. The knee-jerk reaction is to treat your hair with heavy moisturizers, which may indeed be the case; however, I once frizz-dried my hair (and scalp!) back when just everyone had to have a perm (gag!), and it took two years to cut it off and grow it back out. The irony is that I had naturally oily hair (go figure). I have since learned that when even just highlighting my hair I do NOT let the hairdresser put me under the dryer. So even though my hair type tends toward oily, I have to take in other considerations, such as weight and volume. Otherwise I totally frizz out, even though I also have naturally straight hair.
All this to say (and I quote an old advertising tag line): Only your hairdresser knows for sure.
The up side to this is that you may have one EXCELLENTLY cool looking cut come out of this whole deal!

You will need to have the dry damaged hair cut off and then use a good quality hair conditioner regularly to keep hair from getting damaged again. I suggest going to a beautician.

First I'll suggest getting it trimmed. Trim those split ends off, they do no good.
I recently bought some shine and anti frizz stuff that Herbal Essences makes, the shine stuff works. John Freida (I think that's how it's spelled), but he's expensive... but his anti frizz stuff works.
Try Sally Beauty Supply, the lady there will help you. Just make sure if you get something, ask how to use it, when to use it. Because you can get something, lather it in, and it still do nothing.

split ends should be cut off....
that's the only way to get rid of them.
then take care of your hair...moisturize ..and stay away from too much blow dryers...curling irons..electric rollers....
give your hair a break and let it dry naturally...
you can always try velcro or sponge rollers....
try MOP Glisten shampoo & conditioner..excellent.

You should try to keep heat and chemicals out of it for a while and use shampoos and conditioners that contain natural ingredients

i say go to hte hairdresser as soon as possible, they should be able to fix it up and give you a cut that might be easier to keep healthy. until then get pantene pro v restoratives, that worked great for my best friend who also had fried hair.
