I as well as others who have compassion for a people who want to try to make better lives for themselves are often told to "GO BACK HOME TO MEXICO!" Most of you who don't side with us assume we are Mexican not even considering that if we WERE Hispanic we could come from one of MANY different countries. To me that just shows how White America thinks. You only think about yourselves & your own personal interests & what benefits you. You assume that's how all others think too. That is why you assume we are Mexican. Why is it so difficult to understand that there are people in the world who care about others of a different race, others with their own personal struggles regardless of their skin color or the language they speak? Why must we be "MEXICAN" (white translation = illegal) just because we understand why Latin Americans want to come here & because we defend them being here?

You know, depending on how far back we want to go in the line of immigrants (which, by the way, this country is made up of) perhaps the Mexicans should be telling US to GO HOME! But Americans conveniently don't want to remember that part of history. In our minds we've ALWAYS been here & OWNED this land. It was OK for us to come here & savagely take the land yet it's WRONG for Hispanics to come peacefully to try to build better lives for themselves. We should be thankful they aren't using the same methods our White ancestors used.

How does someone with a name like SHOOT_ILLEGALS feel an expert to talk about "criminal" activity? Should we assume that you feel the crime of murder is more justified than the crime of stepping over an invisible line in the sand to make a better life for one's family? WOW! Time to take a look in the mirror! MURDERER vs. TRESPASSER? Which crime is greater? Or can we only answer that when we know the RACE of each of the "criminals?" Right on- Pamela! Whenever I have posted a question that sounds pro-immigration, everyone assumes I am Latina! In reality, I'm whiter than white bread! It's just I lived in L.A. for a long time, and I saw how we whites exploit illegals... Then suddenly, it's a problem after years of that exploitation! I mean, thousands of nannies, raising rich white kids in L.A., are illegals! Half of construction is done by illegals- and it's still expensive to build there! Oh well. there's no convincing ignorant people.

I don't know that everyone makes that assumption. Why do you assume we do?
Why would anyone feel the need to defend or condemn a race anyway? I think it is ideas and actions that get condemned or defended.
So consider for a moment that there are a lot of illogical arguments, including ad hominem attacks, begging the question, appeals to false authorities, and the like. Don't get so worried about illogical arguments; they are usually the result of bigotry or some other character flaw.
Also remember, some ideas espoused by Hispanics, blacks, whites, etc., deserve condemnation. Your statement is an illogical argument. It makes unsupported assumptions about a large group of people who have something in common that is unrelated to the argument at hand.

properly I do accept as true with you that Republicans hate Hispanics,criminal and unlawful alike, yet i think the main substantial and easily reason they are helping Zimmerman is with the help of the fact the Liberals are going nuts over the full case. in certainty they do it to piss off the liberals.

How do you know what people think? In regards to your question I never assume what someones ethnicity is based on their answer I think most people answert because they think what they are saying is right, so it is possible for a person of any race or ethnic group to answer in defense of another if they think they are right.

I don't know why they do that, must think they are fonts of wisdom. I was told for so long I was "married to an illegal, sleeping with an illegal and living with an illegal" that I finally realized they were talking about my chihuahua Jack. Actually his dad was from Mexico, but his mom was born here so he isn't even an "anchor" pup. And he doesn't get any assistance from the gov. I support him and he speaks English very well

why do you assume that they assume that? Sure there are one or two idiots, but i think that most would look at your avatar and realize that you dont really look like most Hispanic people, and that it doesnt really matter what race you are. Yep, and being Hispanic is now automatically considered a bad thing. Even I who am a legal resident of the United States of America face discrimination and I am being told how I don't belong here all the time.

I don't! I don't care if a person is Hispanic, Chinese, Caucasian or whatever! All I care about is if the person is here LEGALLY. If they are an illegal alien they don't belong here and they should GO BACK HOME to _______! (Fill in the bank for the home country.)
When the illegal aliens state they are here to "make a better life" for their families - that's a great intention HOWEVER, they are breaking the law and shouldn't be here!!!
