First of all I've had no problems finding guys til I have had my son, and i take my son with me almost every where .

Thanks for a mature question.All these stupid boy/girl questions are driving me nuts! Anyway,yes I would date a single mom,and yes I would want her to bring her son.Reason-he is the most important person in her life and he needs to see for himself who Mommy is interested in.It also gives him a chance to ask questions and see if all three involved are compatible.Thanks again for a good question.

Ever hear of "Mother Bear Syndrome"??
This is when a female won't let a male near her cubs.
It happens a lot in relationships where a man co-habits with a single mom.
A woman wants a dad for her kids, but any discipline carried out by the male is resented by the mother bear. In fact it gets to a point that the male can't take any parent role towards the kids.
As much as I don't care if a girlis a single mom, I have seen this go sour so many times , we would either be just friends or not together at all.

Yes. I would date a single mom (and have). And I would take her son on a planned date, but not a first date. Getting to know the children is very important in starting a relationship. And, admittedly, I have also broke-up with a girlfriend because her child was too bratty for me. So, as in everything in life, there is give and take. Good luck and don't settle for anything less than you deserve.

Not in a milion years. Whatever kids I gotta put tru school are gonna me MY kids, not some loser's who just planted seed and moved on. Anyhoo, if the woman is a single mother, she is always needy for her child, and if you don't want to give that then stay away. so the woman can look for a man just to be father to the child and not lover to the woman. NO WAY, not for me, but at least I am honest to say that and not brake heart
