Now is a great time! Some vets say it’s fine to neuter even as young as 8 weeks, but most people have it done at about 6 months of age. Your pup is definitely old enough.

You can now neuter your dog at any time. After reading some of the really horrific and sad experiences from alot of pet owners on this site when they neuter or spray their dogs too young (8weeks to 4 months old) I will never allow any of dogs to be neutered or sprayed before the age of 1 years.

You should neuter your dog right know or you can wait tell he is about 1 year and a half so he has some pride or you can let him make babies then neuter him.

It should have been done at 4 to 6 months. My vet told me, that it will keep him from humping your leg / arm or anything else. This will keep him squatting to urinate and from hiking his leg on furniture. It definately worked!!! Also, the end won't hang out. Which looks disgusting.

after six months, your pet can be done. It's not that expensive
and your pet will recover quickly. I have never heard of anyones
pet having any problems after. It's better to get them done when
they are still young rather than wait till they are older, cause it
is harder for them then.

When is a good time to neuter? For the dog, there is NEVER a good time. Should've been done earlier. Would've been cheaper too.

I love how some people copy and paste their answers lol. Some times people can be book smart and experience stupid..As for your dog anytime you can make the appointment will be fine.
