I just read his book From the Streets to the Ring and there was some pretty crazy stuff in that book. How much of it do you think was really accurate?

- Yeah that part about LaLonde sounded pretty crazy. Teddy Atlas was always a good story teller but about to kill a fighter over something like that? C'mon now.

The book is 288 pages and I'd say 278 are greatly exaggerated if not just plain lies. This book is 1.15 pounds of the smelliest manure you'll ever find. It's a good book to read if you go into it knowing it's fiction. I'm surprised that he wasn't invited on the Oprah show.

Thanks for the question jpd000109.

I was always liked Teddy Atlas. Seems like a great/honest man. This guy liked him and the book too

but Donny Lalonde, who was once trained by Atlas said a lot of the things in the book are not true.

I've always like Teddy Atlas he is a very knowledgeable of boxing and most of what he said was true. I myself come from Canada and I know Donny LaLonde personally this was what suprised me. Not getting into to details but I feel this was deeply exagerated by Teddy which makes me question myself of is he truthful or maybe he took to many punches to the head to say what he said. Maybe in his own mind it may have happened but I do have my doubts if it actually did.

I dunno, he pulled a gun on Mike Tyson. I'd be inclined to believe him.
