There are a few things that have worked for me. Mylocon can work wonders. What worked the best though is if you lay you son on his back and bicycle his legs then rotate his legs in a circle with a little pressure on his belly he should get rid of a lot of gas really quick. Do that three times one direction the bicycle then three times the other direction. Do that until he stops passing gas. I hope this works.

Mylicon drops are over the counter and are absolutely a God send. they will relieve the gas and stop discomfort and bloating. Also Little Tummies is the same thing and works as well. They can be given up to 12 times a day and really help. Without these my son would have been miserable.

Give him a tummy massage and leg presses to relieve the gas. Lay him on his back and bend his knees so his thighs are against his belly, apply gentle pressure. It'll help him pass all that gas.
Mylicon never helped my daughter.

sometimes after having a stomach virus the "flora" in the stomach can become unbalanced. Keep him off of dairy foods for a while (milk, cheese, yogurt etc)...talk to his dr about it, but I have been told to give pro-biotics (acidopholis) to balance things back out. good luck...hope he's doing better soon!

Sounds like you need to change something in his diet. There is a reason he is bloated and gassy.

There are some drops you can get at the drug store. I don't remember the name, but they are specifically for babies.
