ok so i am a pretty shy girl until you get to know me and then i can be my outgoing self.. but i am also especially really shy once i Really start to like a guy.. i can talk to Any other guy.. except the guy i like. because i really am lacking in conficence and don't want to screw things up. :( i know people say all the time that When you find that perfect guy just for you then you will be able to just open up to them, despite the fact that you are shy.. is this really true..? because i feel like it's all my fault and my shyness that ruins things with guys. do any guys like shy girls? i am 17, never had a bf, and i came so close to having one recently, and he was the first guy i was just starting to open up to, but i feel like it ended because i just didn't open Fast Enough.. he found some other girl.. even though he said he really liked me a lot and would wait for me to open up as long as it takes and everything.. so i guess i took that for granted and didn't try hard Enough...?

no it isn't your fault. that guy who liked you sounds like he is jerk. i know how you feel. the perfect guy will come along. be patient. the longer you wait the better he will be. try not to be afraid to talk to a guy. if you like somebody at least start a friendship there then maybe it will turn into something more. good luck. you will find your knight in shining armour.
