It's a long drawn out process but seems to be very successful! They will tell you to keep your dog very restrained, not alot of activity to prevent the forward and backward motion of the femur, on the tibia. Afterwards, your dog will have more range of motion, less arthritus, and will be able to return back to normal activities with less pain.
