Hell is not Satan's "home". It is the finally punishment for his (and man's) rebellion against God. God does not want anyone to go to Hell. That's why he sent Jesus to die for our sins.
Satan is not God's equal. He's not Jesus' equal. People often think they are opposite sides of the same coin. That is not correct. Satan is a created being. He was the highest angel in Heaven who aspired to the throne of God and lead a rebellion in Heaven. To give an idea of his power, he convinced a third of the angels to go to war on his side. Hell was created for them and for humans that reject Jesus.
People wonder how a loving God could allow such a place to exist, but they forget that he also demands perfect justice. If you reject him by rejecting Jesus, you have given him no choice.
I think it's an honest question and would disregard the hostile answers you've received above about the validity of it.
Hope this very brief overview helped. Good luck with your research.

Satan doesn't send people to Hell, you just...go. the path leads to the destination.
Enemies, yes. Equals, not in the slightest. God is infinitely stronger.
working together, no. Satan can't stand God or His people. Satan hates creation in general.
Satan's purpose? I don't think it was set by God. Lucifer rebelled against God and then became Satan, which means accuser (which Satan tends to do to God's people). His purpose I don't think is ordained by God, but he's really just the bad guy, doomed, and he knows it.

Satan is definately not helping God. It is God's desire that all people go to heaven, however He doesn't assure that. He allows Satan to tempt us and sadly Satan does get people to shun Jesus's free gift of salvation. But this is in no way helping God.
And by the way, we are all bad people. Romans 3:23 - for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Satan's purpose WAS to serve and praise God. he failed.
Now Satan since being rejected by God wants to hurt him. Satan knows God loves humans. So Satan and his crew hate us. If he hurts us he hurts God.
They don't care of we worship him they (satan and his demons) only care if we do NOT worship God of the bible.
Oh and we are ALL bad, "All sin and fall short of the glory of God"
and "God wants all to be saved and come to repentance."

Don't be mislead. If Satan has gathered all the sinners to hell, his next aim would be to get God down there too.

You dont go to hell because your bad, you go to hell because you dont believe in Jesus Christ as your personal savior. God doesnt wish for any of us to perish. You should really think before you post these dumb questions. It makes you look very unintelligent to be so confused by something my 8 year old could explain to you.
