Let me guess; you have been academically dishonest and now have this assignment, because you were caught. I hope no one contributes to this obvious attempt at helping you become even more academically dishonest.

Academic dishonesty is wrong because the purpose of an education is for the student to become smarter. If he copies the word of others as I did, this does not make him smarter. If he copies an essay on academic dishonesty as I am doing now, it indicates that there could be a huge lack of intelligence and a deficiency in the reasoning process.
By being academically dishonest, I have revealed that I do not understand what the actual purpose of my education is, and by copying this paragraph from Yahoo Answers, I have attained the rank of Great High Doofus.

Academic dishonesty is wrong because the person is actually taking the authors point of view and using it as his own. By doing this, the student does not grow as a person and does not use the brain cells that God gave them to enhance themselves as a person.Colleges are there to teach you to think as an individual in a unique, individual way. By cheating, you are not unique. You are just stealing someone else's ideas to use as your own.

Hey Daniel. Academic dishonesty is wrong because you didn't earn it. Any type of dishonesty will erode your moral fibre and will eventually produce feelings of uselessness and degrade your self worth. You will never feel the satisfaction of achievement if you gain something through dishonesty. The momentary rewards of cheating will soon be replaced with feelings of guilt because you received something through deceit. This will eat away at you for the rest of your life. How can anyone ever be able to speak honestly with their future children and advise them morally if they haven't lived that kind of live themselves.

Wow... This is wrong on so many levels. The human mind and its products are those of individuals, and must not be shared without explicit consent.

Looking for someone to do your homework for you???
This is exactly why it's wrong! You learn nothing from just copying other people's work.

no, but all you need is a topic sentence and three supporting statements. It can't be that hard.
