I've noticed that i become more self destructive when the moon is becoming full -- the full moon has just passed, and i've done many bad things to myself this weekend -- does anyone else have this same problem? --- i'm a scorpio, so i'm prone to self-destructive behavior anyway, but it gets amplified during the full moon

I am a Scorpio too and the full moon affects me. I get much more emotinal and less able to keep it hidden like I do the rest of the month.
I, like many Scorpios, like to observe people. I work at a call center and we know when the moon is getting full. This is because our calls get really weird during the week of the full moon!
It is not your imagination. The thing about being self-destructive is to figure out the least self-destructive thing you do and go with that behavior and give up any really bad behaviors. Then when you only have the one left, work on getting rid of that one.

If you replace a good habit with a bad habit, you can beat it easier.

Good Luck! Scorpios don't really need good luck though, you know! We have iron will.

When I was working in a Nursing home, we could always tell the lunar cycles by how many behavioral disturbances there were in the residents. During Full Moons the place was a damned loony bin. I don't know how, but I'm convinced that the Moon does effect emotions.

I get headaches during the full moon, and on either side of full. Three days of them. I once dated a state trooper, and they never allowed civilians to work the desk during the full moon because the crime rate tends to be a little higher, and the crimes a little more violent. They also had 2 troopers covering our county overnight during the full moon rather than the usual one (I live in a very rural area). Maybe there's something to it afterall.

I find that times of the Full Moon are very spiritual for me. I am also a scorpio and am not self-destructive at this time. It is more of a time of peace for me.

Yes, the full moon certaintly has an affect on people. Just look at how animals are affected. Normally, during the full moon people go wild, and on the new moon people are extremely calm.

I believe its called the witching hour in a continuous wave across the the glob the crime rate rises and falls at this time every night and even worst during a full moon hells way off letting us know its not that far away.

I have never noticed any unusual behavior to coincide with the moon.

I volunteered at a Suicide hot line years ago, and we used to keep track of calls and attempts and never saw a correlation between phases of the moon and craziness.

I volunteer in the ER and I do notice an abundance of crazy people coming in when the moon is full.
