He is a little over a year old. This has been going on for a day and a half. Can someone please help me .

get him to a vet a.s.a.p if your vet isn't in get to a emergency vet. it could be anything from parvo to poisoning.

well i work at vets and their alot of things.
was he properly givin his shots-parvo is more likely at under 1 yr . the syptoms are lathargic, vomiting, bloody diarhia.
or
did u feed him table scraps. sometimes that react like this to table scraps like bologne, hotdogs, or steak. although not with the bad balance.
or
i hate to even ask is he on a chain or in a fenced in yard. we had a run of people throwing poisoned meat in to dogs to break in their house. when poisoned dogs will vomit, act lathargic,seizure
the other thing is possible rabies but highly unlikely in a year old dog.
you can take his tempature it should be 100-102.5 ( you have to take this rectally sorry)

This sounds gross but check the vomit to see what it is the dog might have eaten that could have caused him/her/it to be sick. and if its been going on for a day and a 1/2 I'd say that your dog should go to the vet or call the vet asap

TAKE HIM TO THE VET NOW! I worked at a Veterinarian for a little while and it sounds like poison. Is there anything he could have eaten? rat poison, fertilizer, medicine, or anything bad like that that he may have eaten? rush him to the emergency vet nearest you. if it turns out that it is poison, he could die if you dont get him in right away. It sounds like he's gotten into something poisonous. Check his respiration and the pupils of his eyes.
If you have a gut feeling that you should take him to the vet...DO SO! Better safe than sorry.

Take it to the vet. He could have drank or eaten something bad. I you want him to live to be older, go now for the love of God. Don't even finish reading this.

i would call you vet. there are a number of things that its could be. my first thought with his age would be foreign body or poison. but thats just a guess. does your vet have an emergency number? or is there an emergency clinic around? i would do it very soon.
