I am more than happy. I am Colombian, and to see one of your is doing this kind of staff is really good. I think all the people that knew that Montoya was going to do good, expect an apology from the many bad things many people said about him. As a Colombian guy, I am proud of my Country. I also expect many good things for him. I know he is going to work really hard. It is impressing what he did, he has raced around 5 races in NASCAR in he already won one. Go Montoya, and off course COLOMBIA.

I think Juan's win was a big deal for NASCAR. His fan base will account for the largest growing segment of new fans to stock car racing. It is good for the sport despite of what a lot of people think. He had by far the best car at Mexico but did make a mistake in taking out his teammate, Scott Pruett. Although Juan must bear the brunt of the blame, both crew chiefs (of the 41 and 42 cars) should of had better communication and had a plan for when to let Montoya go. If they didn't have that planned (to let Juan go) shame on them. Juan was the class of the field and they had plenty of time (during all the cautions) to come up with a good place for him to pass and for Scott to tuck in behind him for a 2nd place finish. You all need to remember that Juan had tires that were 9 laps fresher than Pruett's and the other guys up front because of the whole fuel fill problem. Chip Ganassi and Felix Sabates had said that the only team orders were to not wreck each other, well they should have been able to come up with a contingency plan based upon what was happening on the race track at the end.

I loved seeing Juan Pablo win that race. I wish I could have seen a regular race broadcast with it, but ESPN's "PabloVision" was the best I could get. He had that race won until he had that fuel problem, and after that I almost changed the channel. I didn't think he could charge that far ahead @ the end and still win the race.. Boy, Was I wrong!!! That was a great ending, and to all those saying it's tainted by him wrecking his teammate... That's horseshit! Juan Pablo didn't drive into that corner saying, "Im just going to spin my teammate out and win this race"... It was a RACING incident! Simple as that.. I'll even agree that the wreck was Juan Pablos fault, but damn it wasn't intentional.. That was just racing, and all you anti-hispanics need to drop it, and stop your b**ching

I sort of expected the win, I mean, F1 racing is on road courses, so I figured Montoya had a top 5 finish for sure.
The unfortunate stain was the incident where he accidently spun out his teammate, and yes it was an accident, for those of you who actually think Montoya was what Pruett said in his interview.
Expect Montoya to win his first Cup race most likely at either Infineon or Watkins Glen, but I'm not counting him out at the ovals, he's doing pretty decent every week considering that it's his first time going to nearly every track.

I'm happy but what gets me is all of a sudden all these mexican drivers just popped up into racing. The commentator even said allot of the drivers just jumped in to car with no practice at all.

Same here. Glad to see JP win the race. If it came down to him or Jr., I would also pick Jr. Did you see some of those latino chicks in the crowd though?
