your ex posted you on a website for cheaters and then e-mailed people you knew and told them about it, keyed your car, changed the password on your e-mail account and sent out damaging e-mails as you then disabled the account, posted your phone numbers on the internet, scratched your cd's beyond repair, called you repeatedly just to taunt you, and texted you repeatedly? Just curious.

Call the police. Shows a pattern of harassment

Document Document Document. Keep every scrap of evidence. Get a voice recorder and record his harrassing phone calls. The police won't do a damn thing for you unless you can document outright threat. You may have a case for slander/defamation of character- but it's unlikely. Libel (written slander) is a more concrete ground to walk on, but you have to be able to prove loss. Generally it has to be financial loss- you didn't get a job because of what he said, or you lost an account, or customers. The police don't care that he called you a slut, or made you lose half your friends, or scratched your CD's. If you can prove he keyed your car- that's something. Bet you have no proof though. I just went through all this with my sister and her ex. The police did NOTHING to help her. Save the text messages- save the times they come in, record his phone calls. It still won't likely help you. My advice? Change your phone number. Keep it completely unlisted. Tell only trusted friends, and on that note- trust no one. Best case scenerio- move and don't tell anyone where you've gone. There are just no escaping jerks like this.

Call the police. Sounds like grounds for a harassment charge.

Also take out a personal protection order against him. That way, if he comes within 500 feet (I think it's 500, not sure.) If he comes near you, you can have him arrested.

Call the police, and then press charges. I would not get back with the guy, if that is what you are asking.

If you are a cheater - you may have deserved it. But I would get a restraining order and try to get the police involved if my personal property is being destroyed.
