I heard that we were created to worship, but wouldn't it be boring to worship God for eternity?

Boring?

Humans get bored with something when we know everything about it. There's no more mystery or suprise or last frontier.

With God, that won't happen. He is immeasurable and indescribible, so every second spent worshiping is another second of mystery and suprise and frontier.

Plus, we won't observe time, just as God does not observe time...

Now THAT'S exciting.

So many Christians say we were only created to worship God but that is not the only reason. The Bible says we were created for God's pleasure. We worship him in everyday life in how grateful we are to him and in how we treat other people so that whole "we were created to only worship" thing is actually pretty boring and it's only part of the answer. He made us so we could become perfect like him and so we could enjoy the life he gave each of us.

He had already dreated the angels, who did everything he told them to do. What He wanted was a being who had free will and CHOOSES to worship Him. I like to think of eternity in His presence, but also in the presence of all the saved people who have ever lived. Wouldn't it be a kick to get to know them all?

We were created for God's pleasure and for His purpose.

I love to worship Him. If you do not like it here, I do not think you are going to like it in heaven too. I would try to like it if I was you, because I am sure you will dislike the other alternative even more. And it does not go away if you pretend that it does not exist. Love is a choice.
