Where frozen food goes bad, is that ice crystals thaw in the fridge, and food can get soggy. This should not affect the wholesomeness of the food, but it might not taste as crisp or fresh as it should.

If you wish to try, cook it anyway. If you don't like the taste, throw it out or feed the stray cats with it.
