Once the bank notifies the IRS of the error, the IRS will send a paper check once the funds are credited back to your IRS account, You should see it approximately 3 week from them being notified of the wrong acct information

If the wrong acct # is a real account number for someone else you may have just gifted them your refund. You instructed the IRS to send the money to that account. If the number is one that is rejected by the receiving bank it will kick back to the IRS and they will send you a paper check in a month or so.

You'll get your refund, but it will be delayed due to this mistake. When the IRS sends it to the bank, the bank will reject the automatic deposit and notify the IRS that it's rejected. Then the IRS will print a paper check and mail it to you.
