What is the breed of chicken that is solid black with a red head? Please- no jokes.

I'm guessing you mean the partridge rock, which comes in both bantam and regular. This is the rooster featured in most pictures and novelty items, with the red/brown head and black body. But the chickens are just all red and brown speckled... only the roosters have the neat colors.

If that's not it, probably the black star chicken would be the next in line.

Is it a banty or full grown chicken if its a banty it could be a red rose cone if its full grown it probably courthiansearch McMurray chicken farm in indiana
