My 2 year old mutt has been limping bad..his front left paw.
We think it could have been because of any of these:
Falling down the front steps
Getting his paw [accidentally] shut in the door
Getting pushed down the slide [Stupid Terry!!]

We have him scheduled for the vet this week. If anybody has any idea what it could be please answer. Im so worried =( Thank You

It's been hurt for a while. Before he just didnt put much weight on it so I figured it would heal, but now, he refuses to "put his foot down" =(

Unless your front steps are in the number of 7 or more, the door was really slammed on his foot and or the slide was the height of the house, he is probably fine and just putting it on for the attention and sympathy(my dogs all do this regularlly because my husband babies them if they get hurt). Take him to the vet anyway, but if he was putting weight on it before but not now then its probably a ligament injury.

how is he limping? like with his leg held up in a bent formation? it could possible be a thorn in his paw, have you taken a look at it? with your images you've given it doesnt seem like he has anything lodged into it. it could be sprained, broken, or pulled. if it starts to swell up before the vet visit it could be sprained or pulled muscles, those tend to swell and the dog will keep crying because walking would be torture. give him a cozy bed to sleep in, a nice blanket with your scent, maybe a ticking clock, and just enough comfort to keep him out of movement and to relax and not further hurt himself. im sooo sorry about your puppy, I hope he gets better soon!

You as the owner are responsible for this. How could you be so careless? Bring him to the veterinarian.
