I have a very thick hair, and I have a hard time combing it, I never know how to take care of it. Any ideas?

use shampoos that will make it more manageable. like Bumble and Curl Conscious Medium To Thick Hair Shampoo or L'oreal Vive Pro Smooth Intense Shampoo for dry, rebellious hair.

i have thick curly hair too. what i do is every morning when i shower i rinse it with hair conditioner and comb it out with a wide tooth comb while in the shower then i leave some of the conditioner in so it's smooth and easy to comb thru. then i style as usual, for me that is some gel some leave in moisturizer and an oil sheen spray. and oh, after i come out of the shower i don't comb it with a brush or comb. i style and apply the products with my hands. then i try not to touch it at all for the rest of the day. if you want to blow dry daily well that's a different story. since my hair is so much i can never get it right anyway, so i save blow drying and special styling only for special occasions and then i just go to the salon and let them do it.

I have really really thick curly poofy hair, so I think you've come to the right person. I use Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner, as well as the sleek and shine shampoo. After I'm done washing it I usually scrunch it with a product for curly hair such as: Garnier fructis gel, Curls rock by Catwalk,Infusium spray,Volume reducer for less volume. I try to comb my hair as less as possible it causes frizzness so I use John Frieda hair products for that. I hope this helped....

Fist always use a good shampoo and conditioner that will soften your hair. if your hair is curly after you shower put some strong mouse it in and let it dry naturally then pick it out to make it look soft. If it is straight still use mouse and a straight iron on it oh and you can put some frizz ease in it while wet this will help alot to soften it.

are you black? well if you are, you could get a perm (ask for a kiddy perm if you want it to be more mild)
