I've seen this bad science save teeth for upwards of 50 years, so it doesn't seem so bad to me as a technique.

It may be bad science, because there are so many accessory and lateral canals that can not possibly be sealed that it is hard to explain why it works as well as it does.

I give up. I thought they were good science. What would be bad is to leave a source of decay in your mouth accessible to your blood stream until you get septicemia and die, all the while being in pain.
