i don't know if i should get it pierced behind their backs by one of my friends or just wait which i don't really want to do...

Respect your parents they love you more than you will ever be able to understand until you have kids of your own that you raise. By not going against them shows them that you LOVE AND RESPECT THEM. People can say I love you all day long but you only know it is true by what they do.. Show them you love them they will not rule over you forever and they will not be here forever either. If you go against them they will have less respect and trust for you. It makes everyones life more stressful.. Enjoy a good relationship with your parents while you can. You can get one when you are 18 if YOU STILL WANT IT. Believe me you will change a lot before than.

well now,,,,, don't know how old your are but,,,,you could wear your parents down till they give in,,,,or,,,,,you could go ahead and get your lip pierced regardless what they say,,,, or,,, you could decide that you would like to honor your parents wishes and put piercing on the shelf till you are 18 ,,,see how you feel about it then. really your parents aren't that abnormal to ask you to wait till 18 - there are lots of parents out there who would do the same thing.
if you was me,,,and if I had a good relationship with my parents I'd probably wait. if I didn't have a good relationship, I'd have to weigh the pros and cons - cuz a pierced lip in my books doesn't hold as much weight as a relationship.
oh well, all that on account of a pierced lip huh,,,,just my 2 cents worth.

First of all, are you like 14 or something that you just can't wait? If you only have to wait a couple years, just wait a couple years!! Just WAIT. Don't get yourself into any trouble! And hopefully, but the time you're 18, you'll love your body and yourself and not do anything like that. Don't get me wrong, lip piercings look great! But it just doesn't look respectable.

just wait til ur 18 i tried to do my own lip piercing but the needle i used was to small and i couldnt get the lip ring through just wait and get it done at a respectable place or just ask your parents and if the say no keep on bugging them about it thats how i got my mom to let me get my piercings

ok, you have to remember that parents have a responsibility and that is to raise their children in the best way that they know how and for as long as you are under the legal age, they have to make tough decisions, ones that we wont like and ones we will, First let me ask you some Qs, 1)Do you have respect for yourself ? 2)do you have any respect for your parents and in what decisions they make for u?3)Do you want to be a follower and do what your friends do? or 4) Do you want to be an individual and know whats best for this moment, have you answered yes to 1,2, and 4, then your parents have done a great job in raising you and that you understand why descisions are made for us and that you already know the answer, if your friends push you into not listening to your parents, or dont like what ever decision you've made, then that tells me that they have no respect for you and are not true friends but in saying that, if you decide to go against your parents wishes, then always remember, you have to take responsibility for your own actions and that some actions come with consequences, its your choice.

depends on how long until your eighteen. if your going to turn eighteen in like a month then as long as you dont plan to live with your parents after that then i would say go for it but if you have longer to wait then that or you plan to continue living with them then dont do it because its there house and they can still kick you out of it. good luck and i hope you get your wish.
p.s.-you dont have to listen to all these people either im sure you will do the right thing. you should respect your paents but i also believe you should be able to make a statement about yourself that shows who you are.

how about... WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE 18!!!!!
I'm thinking that if someone pierces you without parental consent they're a little sketchy... what else are they doing illegally? Best to wait and go to a reputable piercing/tattoo place.

I'm facing the same problem.
I know, it sucks.
But when you turn 18 you can get as many piercings as you want.
Plus, if you get it done behind their back, they'll probably just make you take it out...
2 more years till I can get my snake bites

don't let one of your friends do it! if you can't wait and want to go the route of going behind their backs, and are willing to accept whatever punishement they give you, that's one thing, but having one of your friends do it is dangerous. if you must do it, go to a professional place, forge your parents signature, give them a freind's phone number and have them pretend to be your parents. it may be a little more work but you don't want your friend to do it wrong and permanently mess up your face.

Don't do it until your 18 respect your parents descision until then. If you get it then you have to leave it in unitl it heals up because if you don't it is not that easy to get back if you take it out.
